My series DEATHZONE ALEPPO is now published on the blog. Three stories comes together here. Two families gets killed in helicopter strike in central Aleppo. They had just escaped the fighting in their neighborhood the night before. 9 children, mother and father got killed. In Salahedin the rebels hear a tank approaching. After shouting incoming tank three of them rush with machine guns and RPG’s to take it out, but the tank hits first. After the curtain of dust vanishes two of them are shredded to pieces and one is still gasping for air, but dies before getting to first aid. While all this is taking place the hospital is desperately trying to cope undermanned with all the injuries and death coming in. 80% are civilians saids Dr. Osman. Even the hospital is targeted from time to time by regime airstrikes.
